The Bulletin Ministry consist of the Church Clerk and volunteers that make, purchase, and prepare the church bulletin, now, on special occasion only. The ministry receives assistance from the Ushers Ministry on issuing out the bulletins to the congregation and guest.
The Product:
This ministry uses pre-printed church pamphlets, created pamphlets, and local
graphic design desktop publishing vendors to prepare bulletins for our services.
Bulletins are acquired from the local Christian book stores and ordered
from several Christian supply companies. The church work with individuals
and other ministries to prepare custom made bulletins. As you can see
some samples of the bulletin covers are provided on this page.
The Content:
Services: Church contact info including our church website
address and Pastors email address (Pastor Dara at zionhill.com); dates and time
of service/program; order of service; sermon scripture(s), sermon title,
and minister; special services like Baptism, Holy Communion, or Christening;
welcome messages; announcements; weekly scheduled meetings; info. about our
cassette, radio, website, and television ministries; and list of our
weekly services.

Pastor's Annual -- desktop publishing document; cover of the Pastor and his family, theme, church address, dates of events, message from the pastor, order of service for each event (3), anniversary sermon and dinner, and recognition of gifts/contribution provided by community businesses. |
Funerals:
The cover include the decease picture, name, sunrise (birth) and sunset (death)
dates; church address and officiating minister(s); obituary with portrait(s);
service order, date, and time; list of active and honorary pallbearers
and flower bearers; acknowledgements; and entrusted funeral Inc.
Inserts:
Typically inserts are major changes, congregation hymnals, and new songs
presented by the praise and worship team.
