The Camera Ministry is critical to this ministry's spreading of the gospel via television and the internet. God is showing Himself strong in this congregation of believers through the anointed teachings of Pastor Joshua Joy Dara, Sr. (Dr.).
This ministry beginning evolved sometime after Joshua Dara's arrival at Zion Hill in 1996. The initial VHS video camera and tripod equipment was donated to record sermons, workshops, bible studies, radio broadcasts, concerts, etc. and the rest of the story is history. Now this ministry is utilizing two JVC GY-DV5000 and one Canon XL1s digital Video Camcorders. We have video production capability at our family worship center. This volunteer ministry of members has the awesome task of ensuring that the video production is excellent during our worship services as our Pastor expects excellence for an excellent God we serve. With the new edifice that God built for us; the camera ministry video footage appear on two screens and stage monitors. There are monitor jacks throughout the facility so no one can miss what is going on in the family worship center. There are presently five cameras to date; one central operated camera, one side operated camera, one floor operated camera (Canon), and two ceiling mounted stationary cameras.
Purpose:
To capture the essence of our worship experience and the Word of God through anointed teachings of the Pastor, Guest, and Associate Ministers. To also be obedient to the great commission as Jesus commands us to do by broadcasting via TV media for the sharing and spreading of the gospel of Jesus Christ in our facility, community, and abroad. And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. Luke 14:23
How can one join this ministry?
This is a volunteer ministry that need and welcome laborers for the Glory of God. Just have a desire to work and remain dedicated for the glory of God. Your reasonable service will be until Him not man. Amen. And ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth.
