Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; 2 Timothy 1:8

The purpose of the prison ministry at Zion Hill is to minister to inmates by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Word of God.  The prison ministry attempts to empower inmates to change by allowing the anointing of God to be manifested in their life that He will break the yoke of bondage and criminal behavior. This prison ministry hears Jesus saying "Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me." Mathew 25:36

Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. Revelation 2:10

This volunteer ministry at Zion Hill Church is lead by church ministers.  Their ministry is a blessing to this body of believers (church).  If you are interested in joining this ministry please write .

For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. Mathew 11:10  By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; 1 Peter 3:19

Paul and Silas in Prison (All things are possible in Jesus Name)
Acts 16:17: The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. 23: And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely: 24: Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks. 25: And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. 26: And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. 27: And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. 28: But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. 29: Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, 30: And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31: And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. 32: And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.
