The recreation ministry is a volunteer ministry that encourages recreational fellowship amongst children, teens, parents, members of Zion Hill, and the community. This ministry tries to plan many events involving competition, skill enhancing, challenges, and most important fellowship one with another.
The chairpersons of this ministry often coordinate the activities between ministries, other churches, and various leagues. The biggest event hosted by this ministry is the youth basketball summer league. The most competitive event is the deacons vs. the ministers in basketball. As this ministry continues to grow so does participation in recreational activities. |
