Gift of Salvation (Jesus is the truth, way, and life)

The Purpose of salvation is three fold:
1. Deliverance from sin and death
2. Birth and renewal of the spirit
3. Restoration of our relationship with God

Why?

The bible declares that no one can come unto the Father (God) except by Jesus Christ. Adam (we'll call the first Adam), began God's creation of man-kind and his disobedience (sin) to God caused man to be separated forever (Romans 3:23) . Before Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God (John14:6) , sacrificial offerings had to be made unto God for the atonement of human sins. But man continued to drift away from God in sin and such offerings were no longer expectable.

Adam was in the presence of God's spiritual kingdom although he dwell on the newly created earth, which was good (Genesis 1:31) . Adam's spiritual relationship with God died with his disobedience and that meant for all humanity. But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. Isaiah 59:2 The bible declares that the wages of sin is death. The bible did not say death to only the non Christian, but simply death. Learn more about "Beyond Salvation". God still had a passion for His creation, us, as we were made in His image and likeness. That simply means we can except Him or deny Him; we can do good or evil; we have a mind to choose our own destiny, values, and beliefs. But God's will is that we obey Him and Worship Him while we are on the earth. So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. Romans 12:5

Therefore, God's love for you and I required an ultimate sacrifice that God would except, and that was the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, (John 3:16) also know as the second Adam. Jesus came that you and I may have life and have it abundantly. That's right, God is love and He wants you and I to enjoy His blessings while we are here on earth. Jesus came only to show you and I how to live on earth, love and forgive each other, and worship God. Jesus died for the sins of the world, which restored man's relationship to God for all that will believe. Jesus was the Son of God who died to give you and I the gift of salvation (life) and not death with eternal separation from God (1 John 5:12-13) .

How Do I Receive Salvation?

We are glad you asked! It is free yet costly (Acts 3:19) . You have to confess with your mouth (speak it) and believe in your heart (soul) that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He came to this world and died for your sins (1 John 1:9) , that God raised Him from the dead (yeah! there is no bodily remain on earth) and again dwells in heaven with our God and Father then you shall be saved (Romans 10:9-10) . This is Jesus's promise to you and I: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 5:24

Prayer of Salvation: Father God, forgive me for being among the blind as your word tells me that I can only come before you through Jesus. Therefore, I believe Jesus is your only begotten Son whom you sent into the world to die for me. Thank You! I want Jesus to be Lord of my life. Father, forgive me of all my sins as I receive Jesus who delivered me from the captivity of sin by His death, burial, and resurrection. I know He now lives with you. I am a new creature now that Jesus is Lord of my life and my slate is clean of any record of sin I've committed. I have a new life in Jesus Christ, now bless me as I follow Him in baptism (Acts 2:41) . Father, send your Holy Spirit to live within me that I may know You more and live by your holy word. Thank you God for loving me in Jesus Name. Amen!
